The University of Hartford will honor its members of the class of 1966 with a festive 50th reunion celebration to be held the weekend of May 13-15, 2016.
One of the greatest traditions at UHart is the induction of the 50th reunion class into the Golden Hawks. Members of the class are invited to return to campus and participate in the Spring Commencement ceremony with a place of honor in the procession.
A variety of 50th reunion activities will begin on Friday, May 13, and continue through Saturday, May 14. On the morning of Sunday, May 15, our Golden Hawks will gather to take part in the commencement event. There will be a special luncheon in their honor immediately following the graduation ceremony. More information will be made available to our Golden Hawks in the coming months.
Please help further the Golden Hawks tradition by giving to the 50th Reunion Class campaign.
Here’s how it works:
All contributions made by members of the Class of 1966, regardless of purpose, will be counted toward the 50th Reunion Class campaign total when made between July 1, 2015, and June 30, 2016.
Gifts to the Anchor Fund are strongly suggested to encourage the participation of future Golden Hawks. Special recognition will also be given to those who inform us of plans to make a legacy gift as part of their estate plan.
Examples of planned gifts that will be counted as part of the 50th reunion campaign:
Come reconnect with former classmates, hear about new and exciting initiatives, and see how much the University has grown in the past 50 years!
